The Campaigner (ENFP) personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate, the 7% of the population that they comprise can certainly be felt in any crowd.

Danny is a ray of sunshine and a ball of energy all wrapped into one compact package. A stranger is a friend you just haven't met yet, and every morning holds an adventure waiting to be discovered. It doesn't take much to get him excited, and once you get him going on something he's passionate about, it's all over.

Optimism aside, Danny does have a few confidence issues. Although he grew up in a loving environment, he can't help feeling a bit inadequate when surrounded by a coven of extraordinary women that leave him feeling completely ordinary. He tries not to let it get to him, choosing to be completely supportive instead, but sometimes it's hard not to feel left behind.

He knows the properties of all herbs and crystals and can rattle off the recipe for any potion or tincture you throw at him. Riordan Daniels likes to joke about his "tragic origin story", but here are the facts:

  • Margaret Daniels wasn't the first member of her family to be a part of the Cold Water Flats coven. Her mother, a skilled witch in her own right, had raised her in the magical community of the town. Unfortunately, she couldn't keep her from the poor judgment call that led to a one night stand with a mysterious stranger passing through when Margaret was nineteen. She was, however, able to be there for her daughter through her subsequent pregnancy and the birth of her child. Riordan "Danny" Gabriel was born a happy and healthy baby in April of 1996.
  • Danny was raised in a loving environment, the only testosterone in a group of women. This is probably where his gentle nature comes from. But tragedy struck when he was four. When the coven gathered for their annual summer solstice celebration, they weren't expecting an attack by a group of hunters. In the end, the hunters scattered, but there were casualties on both sides, including Danny's mother and grandmother. With no father to step up, the rest of the coven took him in, raising him to be the young man he is today.
  • Today, Danny is as well adjusted as anyone in his situation could be. He has a great support system, including his best friend/sister from another mister Vinny, as well as two jobs, bouncing back and forth between brewing coffee and Jumpstart Cafe and advising customers at Relics.
